About the Author

Mac' Maqbool Qurashi was born in Jammu, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He traveled to England for studies and met his future wife. In the pursuit of his life long dream, he along with is wife and an infant son immigrated to the United States as domestics in the employment of a wealthy. While working full time in the emerging Cable Television industry he received BS in engineering from Dexel University. In 1974 he founded AM Cable TV Industries with a $1,200 tax refund. It quickly developed into the premier contractor implementing cable TV franchises nationwide on behalf of the owners and became publicly traded on the NASDAQ. He is a member of the Cable TV Pioneers Club, has two patents for his work in cable TV product development, is the former President of Quakertown Community Hospital board and of the local chapter of Rotary International.
